Our Story
Built by a voter who never forgot how confusing it was at first — and decided to do something about it.

Meet the Founder
My Grandmothers, Harriet and Viola, were born before women had the right to vote. Their legacy lives in me every time I help a young person, including my two daughters, discover their voice through voting.
With national, nonpartisan partnership with the League of Women Voters, Common Cause, and the Civic Center, my mission is to inspire and educate students to lead high school voter registration drives that flip the script from apathy to action.
As a mom, mentor, and COO, I've spent decades serving others. In the past three years alone, I have volunteered at more than 200 events—engaging with my community's needs, phone banking across state lines, and as a Douglas County Voter Registrar, registering new citizens to vote at the United States Courthouse. Since 2020, I've volunteered as a nonpartisan election worker, including Nebraska's 2026 primaries. But through it all one moment continues to stay with me...I helped an 18 year old, Emily, register to vote for the first time, and tears filled her eyes as she realized SHE would be voting in the next election. That moment reminded me that voting is more than a process.
My message is a simple truth: your vote is your voice
Your vote is your voice is a tribute to my Grandmothers who were born before voting was even an option for them

Our Mission
Your Vote Is Your Voice is a nonpartisan civic education platform. We don't tell you who to vote for. We help you understand how to vote — and why it matters.
Our resources cover all 50 states: voter registration links, polling place finders, ID requirements, early voting options, mail-in ballot rules, and election deadlines. Everything is verified against official state sources and updated before every major election cycle.
We focus especially on first-time voters, young voters, and communities that have historically faced barriers to participation. Because democracy works best when everyone shows up.
